The Bar

If you want to get away from the serious chat and business and just relax for a while, this is just the place for you. Our staff behind the large bar will keep you going with a selection of inexpensive drinks, or you could play darts, pool, snooker or watch sport on SKY television on the Big Screen.

Snooker Room

Equipped with two first class, full size tables and a choice of cues for the casual visitor so they can enjoy a break from the main proceedings of the day.

Function Room

Luxury furniture, wall coverings, curtains and carpets makes this the ideal place for lectures, conferences, cabaret and functions. There is room for 80 people and there is a bar. Double french windows give access to the members’ enclosure overlooking the cricket pitch which is the finest in the North East.

Upstairs Hospitality Area

Ideal for the confidential type of business lunch where the only on-lookers are the cricketers of yesteryear in the old photographs on the panelled walls. There is a breathtaking view of the cricket pitch and the fine old trees lining the banks of the river. If the weather is suitable you can sit out on the spacious roof area under sunshades and surrounded by flowers which are replenished regularly. (Capacity 40 people). There is a bar in the corner of the room.
